Ami Deneen has taught disaster response, Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare professionals, blood borne pathogens (BBP), first aid, CPR and AED skills for over 30 years.

She served on the Clark County American Red Cross Disaster Services Committee and started the Disaster Action Teams (DAT) in Clark County in the early 1990’s.

Ami is a married empty-nester.  She is 61 years old and has lived in Vancouver in the Pacific Northwest for over 40 years.  Ami raised two Eagle Scouts and served as a Boy Scout leader for over 10 years.

Currently, Ami is the owner/operator of Training Made Simple, LLC.  She teaches BLS,  BBP, CPR, and first aid courses in the greater Vancouver area.  She also serves on the Board of Directors for her homeowner’s association.
